Decided to go for a blast in the S yesterday along the country lanes, now bearing in mind we drive on the other-side here the story unfolds. Going down this road I see a tractor pulling a trailer in the distance, started to accelerate to overtake him and without warning he start's to turn left up a farm track. Split-second I thought the end is nigh. Slammed on the anchor's, smell of burning rubber, my car stopped sideways about five meters from his trailer! The colour of my face went from brown to white in a second. The farmer just casually carried on his way up the farm- track. Trouble with the Spanish is they think indicators are an optional extra. Anyway all seems well with the car, but I might treat it to a new set of rubber's.

Phew, I bet your pants went exactly the opposite to your face Graham!

Glad you managed to avoid a prang. At least you know the brakes work!

Glad no real harm done!

Unless they are seriously "flat spotted" I'd swap them front to rear and try that scratchchin

There's only an accidental outcome if the rubber actually bursts Graham!

How long were your skids? biggrin
Have you flat-spotted any tyres?
