Looking for glowplug wiring loom

Hi

I'm looking for a glowplug wiring loom for my Mercedes Elegance TD Auto 1997 Estate, 2497 CC VIN WDB2021882F61467G Engine Number 60596022016569 R573 JNL.

Mercedes officially don't have the part and I've tried the regular car breakers websites. The car otherwise runs very well, so would be a pity for this nice Mercedes to reach its end of life for something relatively trivial. Any help much appreciated!

If its the same as a C250TD, there is one on ebay..whole car,cheap. Search C250TD, the car is silver in colour and in Suffolk. I am not connected with the car in any way, I have just seen it whilst browsing.Good Luck with your search.

Does the wiring loom still have an 80amp fuse in a black box on the inner wing like W123/4. Could this be the issue?

Hi thanks for the response. Will check out the fuse, but was told by local garage that the problem was that the wiring had deteriorated and was very brittle. It still starts but on cold mornings it gets close to the edge on the life in the battery!
