Want to see if someone can help me out here, did a search but didn't yield anything good. I've tried accessing the headlight from the back through the wheel well access cover without removing the wheel and it's pretty tight. Issue I've faced is the plastic cover in the back of the headlight housing that seems to have two screws holding it in place, I can't get to one of those screws.
Question is can I get more access by removing the engine bay top plastic cover? If not then I'll just have to remove the wheel and go from there but would like to see my options before I start removing things and potentially cracking old plastics.

On a side note my car didn't come with Xenon, so my ultimate goal is to have a look at the space available in the headlight housing to decide whether I'd get a xenon kit.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick one Tony, was hoping I didn't have to remove the wheel as I can't find a car jack in the car but maybe they didn't come with one originally. I've had to research the jacking points on the car so should be ok now.

The V8V doesn't come with a jack (or a spare wheel). It has foam and a compressor instead.

Very true!

Been years since I posted in any forum so I guess I've forgotten my online manners. Will post photos as soon as I get around to taking some photos.

So there actually are cars without xenons. I've never spotted one. Also never seen one without satnav.

That's coz they're the stealth version with bulbs that aren't bright enough to see!

I was offered a vantage with no sat nav when I was looking for my car. Dealer assured me they were not important and could be retrofitted in any case. Worse case of sales ste I've ever heard smile

HID kit installed, was a tight fit but done.

I'm trying to post an image on here but the image uploader doesn't seem to work for me. I'll have to host it somewhere then repost. In any case you can see the photo in my profile.
