I came across one of these recently from side on, didn't know what it was, thought maybe it was a small Lexus.

Turned out to be a Hyundai! eek

Crikey they've quietly come on haven't they?

The Hyundai Equus is a rather nice place to be. ( If you ever get to South Korea )

The Genesis isn't too shabby either, should you make it stateside.

I like the Hyundai, but prefer the Kia Optima from a styling point of view.

Imagine admitting this 5 years ago let alone 10.

I think the Kia Optima is better looking than the i40.

i noticed one of these the other day, the crease along the door handles is very pronounced

i wonder if they are as dire to drive as the i20?

I was in South Korea in 2010 and some of the Kia and Hyundai stuff across there was surprisingly handsome. They do seem to be going places.

From April, the Genesis will be available in the UK too;

That said, the Kia K900 is the far better looking car of the two.

I get to the US a lot. The Genesis is a very nice place to be also. Spent a week in one.

Is that really a Hyundai?!
My eyes are shaking a bit - the lights say Mercedes, the grill is a Ford/Audi mixture, the badge says Aston Martin :wibble:

yeah I had a Genesis for six months in the US. Base model & spec but still had a 330bhp V6, 8 speed auto, leather etc. Nice place to sit, eats up the miles

As above, i40 estate is a lovely looking car. Not sold on the saloon, looks good from the back but looks wrong from other angles.
