Howdoo! Does anyone know which Tillet model number Caterham use in the CSR?
I tried one at Caterham South yonks ago, and found it much more comfortable across the shoulders than the Tillets fitted in my S3 car, even though they were extremely comfy too.
I'd like to fit the CSR ones in my SV.

Cheers,
Mick smile

Not sure Mate. There are a couple of different ones in the gallery. There's an SV with some B1's in too....

So they could be B2, B6, or B7 confused I suppose I should contact Tillet. Looks like I may have to save a few more pennies first though, after seeing the price!
I'm sure I paid about 600 a piece for the carbon Kevlar ones in my old car. But they were a different seat to the CSR ones I tried at Caterham South.
These are the ones I had in my S3, but I found them a bit tight across the shoulders.

Yep those are the standard ( if such an expensive option can be called that!) that were standard in my previous White R500.

As you say Mick they are the Caterham branded R500 Carbon Kevlar Tillets, still not sure exactly which tillet own brand model they are equivalent too.

When I was looking at buying a CSR the demo model CC cars had, seemed to have the type that most look like the tillet B2.

They are much wider across the main body of the seat, plus the base angle is better as the rake is greater, which means the part under your thigh area is raised up more, giving more support.

Excellent seats and much more comfortable than the R500 seats, but there is no way due to their size they would fit in a standard S3 model like mine!

Good luck on your search,,and as you say best get saving!

Considering the price of them, I suppose it would be prudent to get a cheap flight and actually visit Tillet for a "fitting".
I would like to see if I can get a pair done in the Kevlar. Apart from the look (they would compliment my gold wheels) they wouldn't be so hot to sit in after getting the Mallorca sun on them smile That was the main reason I went for them in my last car.

I'll have to dig into my pedal box fund. That was going to be my next spend, but then I realised I'm not going to get the pedal box position right without the seats in.
