I've got a Carl Zeiss Hasselblad lens. How much is it worth?
Discussion
My younger brother works in a storage facility and gets stuff for free which people have forgotten for a long while.
Today he brought a Carl Zeiss Hasselblad 4/40 lens. I'm wondering how much it's worth? It came in a really nice Hasselblad leather box made in Sweden (the lens is made in "West Germany", so I guess it's not cheap. I figured via Google that it may be a few years old and it's heavy and clunky, but excellent for digital commercial photographs.

This recent eBay sale would suggest £500 / $750.
Thanks. I'm getting all sorts of numbers regarding value, still confused about the real value of it. But it looks like £500 is the lowest price point and that's not bad at all.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
