I think the 1/4 mile table will see some significant changes this year.
There should be a few joining the 11 second club and will we even see 1 or 2 more in the 10 second club?

Personally my goal is to try and chase down Paul in the mighty LS Cerbera but no doubt he will move the bar again.

What improvements have you made and what times are you hoping for?

I can't see anybody coming close to Sammy Miller's record ET at the Pod.

Or his speed at any point over the 1/4 mile. bow

And I believe he also holds the record for the most windows broken biggrin

What a guy!

There's a RWYB with a few TVR attending at Shakepeare on 18th April.
As for any times, I just hope to stay in a straight line, though the way my gearbox saga is going I may only be spectating weeping

As Mac says... why not come to Shakey in April.

I will be at the pod with the power tour on 4th July. Could be a great excuse to make this the summer date for the big shootout.

Having run consistent 12.2s I know how hard it is to shave a little time off.

After my cam saga I am now running more torque, (460) and with quick changes may see a tenth off, I hope!

I can never understand why you drag boys don't just put something like this in for the racing

http://www.motorsport-sales.com/index.php?main_pag...

with flat up shift. then put your road box in when you finished on track. You would always get your money back for the kit, when you grow up and decide circuits/going in circles is more fun biggrin

PS I personally wouldn't touch an Elite for love nor money, being a Quaife man myself wink

Because we're all mean!

I quite enjoy the straight line stuff as well as TDs and the odd sprint.

Variety is the spice etc!

I cant make my mind up. Would i be better off with a smaller van and trailer?
What would the insurance and running costs be like? MPG for the truck?

Have you got somewhere to park a 7.5t truck. Do you know some one who can supply chip oil.

At the side of my house. I am on the end of a terrace... just fields.
Not sure on the chip oil.

If you get a van, you can use it as your daily too.
My beastie here, i have towed the Cerbera a few times when i have had to.
Storage of the car trailer is the only problem, but a race truck is even worse?

you would most probably be breaking the law if towing with a light petrol panel van as in picture because they don't have the GVW. See here for info
