Hi all,

Recently I noticed some imperfections in the paint all over the rear lid of my Vantage (small blisters in the paint) and my dealer, Grange Brentwood kindly funding half the cost to get it repaired whilst the car was there for the seat recall, pulley/belt replacement and other bits.

They use Balgores in Romford for their paintwork, but after getting the car back and inspecting it at the weekend, I noticed that there was a scuff line on the bumper and circular scuffs where someone had obviously carelessly used a rotary polisher and scuffed the bumper with it.
On closer inspection I noticed that the paint job itself was of very poor quality with marks in the paintwork and blister like shiny bits all over the rear lid in the paint.

I've just taken the car back to Grange and will see what Balgores do next to rectify the situation.

Watch this space...

Just wanted to update everyone on this as I picked up my car on Saturday.

I must say that Nigel and Gavin at Grange Brentwood were extremely attentive to this and made sure that the job was done again by Balgores.
This time they stripped all the paint off the rear lid and started again, with the result looking very good indeed.

So all's well that ends well and thanks to the Grange guys for their help as always!
