Just wondering really. I know there is a lot of bluster in life but are there any shy adults out there?

Oh God, yes.

This is all a front, you know. Inside, I'm dying.

Yes, and I am sure a lot of those who on this Forum appear very outgoing, wouldn;t be so face to face.

Probably so indeed! Wouldn't say I'm shy but I am not the most outgoing person ever!

Abso blooming lootly, although I prefer to look at it as being reserved and a keen observer of human behaviour.

I always thought I was until a friend pointed out that I can talk to anybody and rarely find myself alone. Ho hum - I guess instead of shy I'm now that annoying bloke who won't stop pestering total strangers.....

not at all. I'll talk to anyone in any walk of life, at any time and enjoy the wonderful diversity it brings me

ETA: I think sometimes non-shyness could perhaps be confused with being loud. You dont have to necessarily be quiet and retiring to mean you're shy.

Used to be but not any more.

In fact, I often wonder if something went wrong in my head as I'm so different to how I was when younger.

Used to stutter as a kid which makes you avoid having unnecessary conversations, so even now i can appear to be quite shy, although i speak as fluently as anyone from the north

I'd rather be a bit reserved than be a loud mouth t@. I don't mind people having nothing to say as long as they don't insist on saying it!
