OK, I have moved us from the mire of Pie and Piston to the world of being a real Event/Meeting or Travel!
After much deliberation this looks like a fair plan to me:
Date: 13th February 2005
Location: Services at end of M42 - Leicester Forest East /
Time: 11am we are students after all

Erm, I reckon it'll be a drive into the countryside somewhere, no sure offhand where, but a few people suggested some places IIRC.
Then country pub or food somewhere, followed by drinks later on.
Whatever anyone wants to do though, I'm easy on that one!

I keep a trusty copy of "The Good Pub Guide" in the glovebox, maybe we could decide on that once we meet at the services, or i could dig it out to give some suggestions in advance, considering the numbers we may have to book if we want sunday lunch at a pub.

PS Anyone at Autosport on Saturday??? If so look out for a 6ft bloke with very long hair and his 5ft1' lady with not quite so long hair, it could well be me and Lex
Yup, sounds like a plan to me. I will probably bring the pimp wagon for a drive by (avec Ginge).
This is all unless petrol goes up again and I need to take out a second student loan to get there!!!

I just need to clarify things a little - where are we meeting? is it the M1 services at Leicester Forest East, or some services on the M42 (as im only really aware of the alvechurch* sp services just outside kings norton birmingham on the M42) also north bound or south bound? what time? and whats the plan for the day?
