Locking Skewers
Discussion
Halo do cheap hex key ones. Obviously they don't require a specialist tool but your average theiving scrote probably doesn't carry a set of hex keys around.

I fitted these to my CAAD and my Whyte came with them or a generic copy fitted:

They're pentagonal so an allen key would need to be jammed in to use them without the right device. The key bit also screws into the nut if you want to keep it in there long term.
They're better made than these:

which were a bit flimsy and remembering the key for them seemed impossible to me. I have the key for the other ones on the ring with the keys for my locks.

Why are there three skewers in your first link?

Back wheel and front wheel from the top, fair enough, but what's the other one for? Too long to fit into a seatpost collar - and presumably that would come with the collar anyway - and I don't have any other QRs anywhere on any of my bikes???
The ones I bought came with a much shorter one than that - more like this:

The tredz set does look odd.

Pitlock is your best option if you want to stay properly secure. They work in the same fashion as a locking wheel nut on your car. They're made completely from stainless steel (apart from a teflon washer...) so they're much stronger than options like Pinhead.
The design makes them impervious to attack with tools like pliers etc. Standard sets are at Wiggle http://www.wiggle.co.uk/pitlock/. SJS Cycles usually have everything available though.
They certainly aren't the cheapest but you really do pay for what you get!
