Very nice workmanship looks like he as un-shrouded the valves a little too every little helps to lower your CR in your case Derek

Those exhaust ports look huge! Did you go for bigger valves as well?

These are 500 heads so have the big valves and porting.
I did some extra porting myself a while ago including deshrouding the valves and taking out the 'bump'.

One head had to have an extra 5 thou skimmed to match the chambers that are now at 28.5cc

Bits of engine always look nice when they are clean and shiny!

Looks like guide marks on the gasket face, hope the gasket will seal on them. Can you feel the mark with you nail or are they almost not there?

I'm sure tvr did those marks to guide the porting?

I suspect you're right Alex, Certainly my thoughts as well. Mine are just the same.
