I'm sure this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything on a search.
Can anyone recommend a good stereo system with integral sat nav that will fit in a T-car with minimum hassle?
Thanks

It's a slight challenge as you're limited to single DIN units. FWIW, I use the Pioneer series, which was TVR's own choice. The SatNav is not truly integrated in that it's a separate unit connected by an umbilical. I've just removed an AVIC-X1R, for which the GPS unit was sizeable and sat under the passenger seat and am putting in the new version for which the GPS unit is small enough to go in the glovebox.

Somebody will be along to talk about the Alpine and Clarion options which are also available.

I have this package in mine, the sat nav unit is tiny and software is on an SD card rather than DVD.

I'm wondering if anyone will do a single-din fold-out-screen with CarPlay. I appreciate that it's only of use for iPhones, but it saves buying an expensive sat nav add-on with out of date maps...

I thought that the latest Pioneer firmware was going to allow this but it specifically excludes all their single DIN units. I'm not clear what gives: the screen resolution is the same. I would say, however that I don't think the iPhone mapping is truly ready for car use. I'm happy enough walking with it but I wouldn't rely on it when travelling at 80 leptons.
