Trooper2 here, just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for about the last month while I was sick with a cold that would not go away. Wanted to say that reading some of the previous posts really kept me cheered up when I wasn't feeling well.
I'm originally from Washington State but presently attending school in Phoenix Arizona and very much looking forward to the career change that comes with it. I'm studying to be an Automotive/ Diesel mechanic, do you think I might fit in?

Great, another American to wind up.

Some quick questions to get to know you:

1. Do you like Bush ? (cue vixpy1)
2. Do you understand/appreciate irony ?
3. Have you ever eaten lentils ?
4. Do you admire Tony Blair ?

YeeeHa!

Ahem. Sorry.

Will you fit in?
1) Did you have a poster of a fast car on your bedroom wall as a child?
2) Is it still there?

1 yes, you'll fit in.
Both yes, you'll never leave.

Have you ever been to Seattle before? Traffic is terrible but the city and countryside are worth it. I was born in Everett about 40Km north and lived in seattle the last 7 years before I moved to Arizona for school. The country side is probably allot like Scotland although I've never been there. The mountains are impressive ( bit of a snow draught this year so far) but bring skis/snowboard just in case.
