Since when did HP have an inside line into TVR?

Or are we talking about someone different to the IT company or the tasty sauce for chips?

Heard the same from a dealer, about what could be a Cerbera two. Same bottom-end of the AJP V8, but reworked top-end, four-vales per cylinder etc.

Can't wait

In the summer I was told something very similar from TVR themselves but in true TVR fashion they wouldn't tell me exaclty what

Good to know they listen to what I tell them even though their parts dept apparantly *couldn't give a toss* if I got any parts ..

When I phoned the factory last autumn asking for brochures (to add to my collection) they informed me that there were no new brochures due to the massive change taking place. She asked me what car I was interested in and naturally I replied Cerbera. She informed me that production had stopped on that model but a new 2+2 was being designed at that time, based on the Typhon. That was from the sales person at the factory!!

Believe it when I see it!

2&2 version of T400R was already planned, so the news is they're going to drop a new AJP V8 into this having just "sorted the problems" on the Speed 6?
Customers to do the development testing again?

TVR sage he say; PH-er who buy TVR car in first year of production sublime being of hope or b***** idiot!

PS £70k+ price tag? If so I'm out
PPS Time to start hording Cerbera parts?

T400R/Typhon already is a 2+2. Part of the original plan for it was that it had to be a 2+2, which is why the chassis is that shape at the rear.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting, chaps - unless the new one is merely a T400R, modified to take an AJP8.

There was an option of rear seats or a larger fuel tank, alas everyone I've spoken to (not many mind) has gone for the larger fuel tank - which doesn't bode well for family buyers looking and used models.

IIRC the AJP cost more to build than the SP6, so we'd be looking at more than the T440R price of £75k.

I'm hoping its going to be GTesque rather than road racer and have a lower-end circa £50k price-tag.
