Near miss

Had a bit of a close one with PC Plod this morning. Coming down the M11 towards the A406 where it goes into 2 lanes but before the fork for eastbound and westbound. I was stuck behind someone doing 45mph in the outside lane and got a bit impatient (speed limit 50) and undertook but about 5 seconds after I'd pulled back in, now doing 65mph, I saw a motorway patrol car parked behind a bush by the side of the road. There was no point in braking and it would have looked too obvious so I carried on.

They didn't come after me, thank god but I started to get a bit paranoid that they might have got me on camera. Anyone else been spotted going fast, not been followed but later been done??

Didn't get done but was out with my best mate whilst he was showing me his new Carrera 2, going down the A421 bypass in Bedford at 140ish when we got stuck behind an old chap doing about 65 and o/taking a lorry. Mate was cursing his break in speed until we passed plod sitting in his traffic car on one the the ramps at the side of the dual carriageway. Strangely he went from cursing to thanking the other driver as otherwise he'd have shot past plod at over twice the NSL...
