1986 Mercedes 500SL

You've all probably heard this before but can I fit colour coded hub caps to a 1986 500SL? Also is there anything that can be done to the exhaust to make it, well sound a bit more like a V8?

If it's a pre-facelift car yes as they are on 14" wheels. If a post facelift car NO as they are on 15" wheels

Face lift came in in 86 . Might have been an 85 registered in 86.
