Bother with matainance on 2 yr 30 k leasing deal
Discussion
Do a quick tally up of costs. It's one service, plus at least a set of front tyres, if not all 4. Maybe a set of front pads.
I wouldn't bother on that mileage, but it's piece of mind I guess for not a huge monthly cost. Our cars are on 20k, non-maintained, although servicing is supposed to be dirt cheap on them (Auris) anyway.

Can easily be £750 for three services at a main dealer, depends what's done. Phone a dealer and ask them?
Also watch out on the tyres front, if the lease company is picking up the tab they might not want to authorise anything decent. No worries if you were going to put cheapies on it anyway.

Thought with leasing you had to match tyres like for like ?
Same size, load and speed rating yes but not the actual tyre brand and model. They might specify run flat or manufacturer approved tyres only on some cars I guess, or I suppose on something high-end with specific rubber then that might happen but not on something mass market.Check with the lease company.

really! Michelin energy saver thing. The fronts did 40k
That's impressive. I was impressed when I got 40k out of a set of discs and 20k out of tyres
If on the motorway most of the time there is no cornering grip required so given tyre is up to correct pressure its very little wear from rolling resistance.
Same with brakes most of the trip he might not actually use them at all or/& use engine braking instead

k out out them and they were still fine after 20k
