My elderly dad has trouble juggling three remotes for his Samsung TV, Humax PVR and DVD player. I've looked online and cannot find a single TV that does all three functions so since he rarely uses the DVD I think a decent TV with a good PVR will suffice.

I have an LG Smart TV which will record to an HDD but it only has one tuner so thats no use, so it will need two tuners, support PVR features like series link, and be easy to use.

Any ideas?

Pretty sure you'll luck out on this one, can't think of any telly with dual tuners. The simple alternative is to get a decent remote control that can manage all three devices, google URC, RTI and Control4. They all have simple solutions for just this problem.

B&O do T a TV with built in twin tuner and hard disk, or any of their TVs will let you control the Humax and a DVD or blu ray player from the TV remote.

There is loads built into them that costs extra on other brands and so avoids the need for control4 etc (and is imsinkker) but you do pay for it.

40" will start at around 2.5k with brilliant sound built in, surround processor (for wired or wireless speaker) built in, seamless integration with an HDMI matrix built in if required etc etc.

Thanks, but I should have added a budget of about £300-£400 for a 32" TV.

There are other issues with the screen size not being compatible with the the subtitles he needs to use, i.e. it chops the lower line in half at 16:9 ratio.
