Engagement ring repair Newcastle area

I'm hoping for some guidance in getting a decent repair done on my other half's engagement ring. It's a vintage ring (around 1910) and of the 8 or 9 claws holding the diamond in, 3 or 4 of them have snapped. I'd be looking for someone who can repair these as sympathetically as possible and maybe also increase the size of the band 1 or 2 sizes at the same time.

Should I just take it to my local Northern Goldsmiths/H Samuel or a local dealer? Or can anyone recommend a trusted online way of doing this?
