Hi, I have received a NIP for 35 in a 30, when I asked for the evidence, the first photo has the speed of 35 and the 2nd at 15mph I clearly have the brakes full on. Does anyone know if this is worth contesting/defending? Thanks

Well, if at first you were going through at 35 mph, with your brakes on, then does it stand to reason you were travelling at 35 mph or above before the gatso? A

It's probably worth posting this in the legal section. I suspect you might be able to argue a few things but you were flashed at 35 mph

Thanks. I will do that, trying to work out if there's insufficient evidence as I haven't travelled the calibration distance. Long shot I know. *I can't post in the legal as I am a new member*

By all accounts you were speeding.

Take the punishment, (probably a speed awareness).

That is unless you have prior and already have points...

Already got points, I thought it was a 40, 4 lane road leaving city. Made a mistake can't really afford to get another 3.

Shame, time to MTFU and start reading in here then- http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&a...

40-30 is one of the biggest money collectors for councils IMO but the only person to blame is the one driving.

I thought the course wasn't offered if you've been on one in the last three years or have nine points or more. If you only have six points you may still be offered a course.
