Current model Kia Soul - Anyone own or driven one?

Morning all,
Looks like my Mondeo might be on its last legs and I’m considering cars to replace it with. I had a test drive in a Kia Soul at the weekend and came away quite impressed. It’s no ball of fire (obviously!) but the handling was reasonable, had plenty of space, a good driving position and the diesel engine was reasonable refined and had enough torque for daily driving. The ride was surprising good even on the optional 18” wheels of the test car. I was pleasantly surprised overall as I had driven the original Soul and didn’t like it but they really have made an effort with this one, in my opinion.
Only downsides are the steering felt very light and Kia don’t fit a CD player for some reason.
Anyone own or driven a current model Soul and care to offer their opinions or ownership experience?
