DIY Garage Glasgow

Hi All,

My first post on here.

Does anyone know of any DIY garages in/around the Glasgow area? I've used one in Govan in the past, but seems to be closed now. I have a bit of work to do that requires the use of a ramp, and would rather do it myself than put it into a garage.

Not sure of any, try your local friendly garage and hire per hour, long term I'd love a set of these

Thanks for the reply, I guess i'll try the local. I'd like a set of those too! Are they available in the UK?

I recently bought a motorbike stand from cj autos and they had similar stands to the above on their website.

You might have a problem getting anyone to let you use there ramp or workshop due to insurance regulations, the insurance companies are getting very hot on that sort of thing now. A few years ago quite a few off these diy hire by the hour places sprang up but I think insurance killed them off much like small plant hire companies, cant hire equipment people havent been trained in using.
