Thought a 1MPH increase in speede caused a 7% increase in accidents.

Ahh, but the speed increase is under the limit and therefore 100% safe.
Its very simple really, if you increase your average speed from 25mph to 30mph then there will be no more accidents; however if your average speed increases from 30mph to 35mph then you will kill several hundred children for each 1mph over the speed (safety) limit. As an evil, selfish, planet killing motorist you may find this difficult to understand but it is truth because i have said so; end of!
