2 year old with broken leg

You may laugh; my daughter broke her ankle when she was 5 or 6, at the after school club where my wife worked. As my daughter was/is a drama queen and makes a massive deal and fuss out of the tiniest things, my wife told her to sit down and stop making such a fuss.
Upon arriving home an hour or so later when after school club had finished, the wife parked up outside the house, ran in and said that my daughter was in the car and was making a fuss as she fell out of a tree earlier and had hurt her ankle; I went out to the car, had a look and her ankle was f
king massive. We went to the local A & E and yes it was broken; the wife felt a bit bad after that!

My eldest is the same.
Our little one ended up in a full leg cast at a similar age and ended up in a full leg cast. To be honest kids probably adapt better/quicker than adults.
Biggest problem we had was the cast had a 10-20 degree bend in it and he'd find it uncomfortable sitting for any period of time unless the cast was supported through the bend if that makes sense.
There's a website that I forget the name of that sells what are essentially dry suits for casts, absolute godsend as you can imagine the odds of bathing a toddler without the cast getting wet otherwise!
It was a couple of years ago now, but other than the obvious issue of needing constant assistance whilst not weight bearing I don't remember it being too much of a drama.
Oh, and for reference, don't put a toddler between your legs when going down a big slide!

Took her to the hospital on advice of th nhs help line, waited 2 hours for an X-ray, the. Waited 3 hours to see a docto to talk about the xray.
Doctor says that there's nothing broken on th Xray (wrist as indicated by kid). Doctor asks kid to move arm around, she does so with no report f pain. Doctor asks her if it hurts, kid says no......Doctor leaves, it's about 2am.
We try to put coat on kid, she says her arm hurts and she can't lift it......apparently she's scared enough of doctors to ignore pain and do what they say.
We get more X-rays 2 days later and she's broken her upper arm, not her fore arm!
