These 4WD dragsters are truly immense. Wonder when someone is going to push one into the sixes.

They have them because they're forced to for drag racing

Again, it's a very specific discipline with very specific rules, especially in the US.

What amazes me is the market for these and the money put into development, likewise with the UGR cars.

There's clearly lots and lots of customers with huge wallets

Here's one with no chute, no cage running low 8's on an airfield and normal looking tyres. Although some pics they show M&H's at the rear. having watched some of them go up the strip like that, with normal tyres up front and crossplies at the back, I can safely say that is dangerous. The cars are all over the place and very surprised they do it
