  • Mods not sure if this should be here or in S/P+Law**
Morning team I bought a used 2009 Audi A3 last week, when collected we were told that it had a spare key. it turns out it doesn't and we were given the number of a company who can provide a spare at a cost to us. now found the 12v supply doesn't work and the front window wipers have stopped. I have tried to call and email the garage that sold us the car with the list of the problems but i'm getting the feeling I will be told where to go with these issues. should I suck it up and get the problems fixed myself or should the garage be fixing this ?

Down to the garage to sort it, get back there and don't take no for an answer.

2009 car I wold expect it in full working order. If it was just the 12v I would be tempted to say suck it up as it's probably not worth the hassle and is something that you wouldn't always expect someone to notice, but the window wipers they should fix without question. The two keys is a little more iffy question of if it is worth the argument. Depends on the cost and how much they argue over the other bits.

Over all they should fix them and there is enough for it to be more than a minor issue.

When I collected a car that had been advertised with two keys, but then only had one, they supplied and paid for a new one. But I was able to prove their online advert said two keys. If you only had it said verbally I'm not sure.

I have an email before we collected it stating that there are 2 keys.
Cheers chaps.

Check the fusebox, the lack of 12v supply and windscreen wipres not working could just be a blown fuse...
