Please can someone advise where to get or which car they were from.
This is for the rear tie bar that connects the bearing carrier to diff housing (early 350i)

Many thanks Alan

I bought nylon type from RT racing in Sheffield, must be a stock item with Richard.
Alternatively David Gerald otherwise known as classic world racing must be another good bet.

I can recommend nylon or similar for these bushes - it makes the rear suspension run a bit truer and feels better afterwards.

Only downside is that you can then only put it back together in a particular order because there's much less give, so you can't lever it about to get that last bolt back in.

Cheers fellas, I'll get on the phone and order some tomorrow.
Adam, where would one source nylon bushes?
Looking at the trailing arm setup silly I can see the sense of tightening this lot up,
I was wondering if there was an A frame conversion possible but it's probably a big old thread that's been done to death.

The only place you'll find any of the original-spec bushes is in the pocket of Lord Lucan's Gannex raincoat, draped over the back of Shergar...

Apologies, spent ages comparing the links and didn't read the post properly.
Seems like a good option

Hi Mate....I think an "A" frame conversion would be too much grief...I didn't think the trailing arm was that bad on my 280i, There were some issues but as long as its done properly then it should be fine..I think there was a Tower view racing mod with a tie bar but they are no longer around..You could always talk to the man of this project..smile
