Driving home from the gym tonight (2006 VXR Monaro) and for some reason the traction control turned itself off and wouldn't turn back on ?

Once home I turned the car off and back on again and the button seems to be working fine again.

Anyone else had this and know why it happened ?

Cheers

Mine has done exactly the same, once, at high speed. Had been driving in the snow that journey so no idea if that had anything to do with it. Came up with the familiar check engine warning, seemed fine once it had been switched off and hasn't come back since.

Been spinning the wheels lots? Tends to happen after a dyno session IIRC.

Mine has done similar, but just reminds me to turn the traction control off (when I rememeber) all the time.frown
It's so embarassing when it cuts the power when I need it. smokin
Mine is standard tho, but I take pride in being able to pull away in the wet without too much wheelspin!
All the (old VX) rear wheel drives (all my private hacks) I previously owned never had any traction control at all.
But as said is a usual trait of Monaros. biggrin
