Giant net over the M25 J17-J16

Anyone know why there is a giant net covering above the M25 Junctions 17 to 16? It seems to have gone up over the past couple of weeks and is held in place by a large scaffolding structure. Certainly isn't doing anything to speed up the traffic!

Normally this happens when they're installing or replacing electricity pylons that would carry cables over the section.

It's to stop vehicles escaping when gravity stops. Make sure you're under it at midnight on Friday...
