maf / tb / air intake sizes help please (04 cv8)

evening

I have an 04 cv8 and after my service at MF recently they spotted that the underside of the ribbed section on my maf pipe has rubbed on the top of the pulley and worn a small hole.

I have a k+n filter in an enxlosed box behind the n/s headlight and i still run the maf

im going to change this but wondering if anyone could just clarify what diameter silicone i need for the air filter side of the maf

going to get a replacement hard plastic maf pipe between the tb and maf and then remake my intake from the maf to filter to hopefully stop and future rubbing.

i have found the smooth maf intake pipes on au ebay but doesnt look like they deliver.

Raving - can't see the pm function anywhere have looked in the places I thought the pm menu would be and nothing showing on email can you try again ?

PM can be found by clicking on a person's user name, then look on the right side of the screen. In small blue letters there is the option "email me"

Only if you're on the Pistonheads blue skin. If you're on the red HSV screen, the PM function doesn't work.

I'm on the older red system so that explains thanks for the help.
