Few suggestions to replace a lotus exige

Right sold my lotus exige 220 to buy a house and I'm left car less at the moment, currently using the other halfs seat bocenegra ibiza 180bhp (nice car but not me lol)

I have a budget of about 10 stretch to 12k to get something else

Now want drive every day performance currently looking at Subaru impreza as there does not seem to be much else. I would like a 370z but too much or a Holden ute but again too much. I want to avoid hatches as I've done that before and I don't like m3's

Any suggestion great fully received as I'm struggling for ideas. (Typed on phone so apologies for grammar etc)
