Just a heads up rather than in the TV forum that if you press your red button now and for the next 3 night it's the world track cycling championships in Paris.

Link? I'd certainly want to do that. Trying out the velodrome is my end of 2015 goal always interested in it and I regret the time my mum offered to sign me up for a taster session at calshot as a teenager.

May sign up as a volunteer too, probably a better chance of getting in!

I'd be tempted to volunteer. I have registered and will keep an eye on the volunteering. If it's like other events you normally volunteer for a day or 2 and get a day spectating in return.

If you're watching via Sky, just go to channel 980. It's easier than messing around with the red button.

I'd best join BC so I can get advanced tickets from 31 March - 03 April as I suspect all the good tickets will be sold out by the time 04 April comes around.

The pace was brilliant the whole way and to keep 4 riders for longer than us just extended their lead. A shame but it was a very good ride from the Aussies.

Agreed, a 4:13 is a very impressive ride indeed. 5 mins of that pace is seriously impressive from a non athlete perspective. Its just slightly sour grapes from me as its the 1 event we'd never lost!

heads up, BC members should have a code to buy tickets today, it will be in the dashboard part of the BC website. Anyone going to the 10am Sat session, I'll see you there.... I'll be the one manhandling the uninterested toddler!...

Thinking about it, but the air temp of the velodrome puts me off. I don't like heat and it could be up to 27 degrees!

I was there for an event in December and the temperate was no problem. It was freezing outside so I had lots of layers on but with a t-shirt on it was not too hot at all.
