until recently I drove an L322 4.4 V8 petrol and average was 14.6mpg
now have an L405 4.4 V8 TD and get about 24mpg despite LR figures of 30+
Really, I've never reset the trip on mine and its showing an average of 30 over 18k miles....I do stay away from city centres where I can though!now have an L405 4.4 V8 TD and get about 24mpg despite LR figures of 30+
5.0SC Id expect around 15-17 combined?

Hmmm... It does depend a lot on how it is driven but on a run I was getting circa 34mpg....ragging it, significantly less.

have a look at LR figures?
I think around 15mpg would be more realistic - of course depends how enthusiastically you drive, lol
I believe LR figures were 19mpg for the overall combined figure; after 26k miles in mine over the past 20 months, on all road types and journey lengths, I am getting generally 19.5-21mpg, occasionally 22mpg on long m-way journeys. This is a 2010 5li. I think around 15mpg would be more realistic - of course depends how enthusiastically you drive, lol
