Amazingly easy to release a further 100hp: Air filter, pullies and tune. Makes you wonder why it doesn't come like this as stock. And all with a piece of kit that can be picked up for under £500 used.

There is, but not in the real world. If the headline figure of 650bhp was showing for two vehicles, and one was £30k less than the other, sales of the more expensive one would be dented, even if the 0-60 was a second slower, and the car topped out at 160 rather than 180mph.
