Just picked up a RR 3.6 TDV8 - couple of questions
Discussion
Hi Guys
I've just picked up a 3.6 TDV8 to replace my trusty old P38 and have a couple of questions.
Its on 62k and was serviced 12 months / 8k miles ago. The service book suggests the indicator will come on when its due. Do most of you rely on this, or service on an annual basis?
It needs new front pads and the disks have a significant lip on them so I think I'll replace them. There seem to be lots of online option with prices seeming to vary from about £50 a disk to double that for original parts. Any good on-line suppliers I should use? I also need rubber mats and a boot liner - again any recommendations for where to go?
one minor niggle is that the drivers side screen washer isn't working at all, despite not being blocked. Any suggestions on what this might be?
I've also notice the parking sensors don;t work. I get a solid beep and then the light on the switch flashes, which the handbook suggests is a malfunction - any thoughts on this?
Finally its in lovely condition, only blemish is that cream leather has a few few creases/ marks, any suggestions for freshening this up, preferable with some kind of colour restorer in it
Thanks
James

I picked up a 2010 3.6 2 weeks ago. Had a Disco 3 before and have used http://www.lrparts.net for any parts and boot liner too.
Brake discs etc. are cheap, used them on my disco and never had any problems and will be putting a set on the RR in the next few weeks too.

I've used this lot before on my xk8 & db9 seats when they were worn and have a java black kit waiting to do the rangie
Just send them a message with the leather colour code or cut a small piece from under seat and send it.
Very easy to use kit and the difference it makes is amazing
