Short stroke 5l or not

I need to identify if my engine is a TVR 5 l or the V8D 5l with the shorter stroke and larger pistons .
Could i Identify from the outside of the engine which one it is ? The reason for this query is because the crank hit my new melfab sump .Would the v8D 4.6 crank still catch the sump ?
Am i right to say the v8D 5l is actually a cross bolted 4.6 engine .
I need to find out before i move on to bigger numbers
The engine builder did not supply me with a build sheet ,that`s another story .

Out of interest, my crank doesn't foul the Mulfab sump.
I don't think its the crank itself that fouls the sumps, rather the big-end cap assembly... Out of interest, my crank doesn't foul the Mulfab sump.
4.6 blocks have casting opposite starter for the crank sensor to protude into the flywheel ~ blanking cap fitted. This is not on 3.9 era blocks with small journals.

Can the Tvr 5.0 l be cross bolted,, why didn't they do it from stock?
If the Tvr 5L has a weaker crank isn't Robs engine the best solution.

I'd have thought FI will be to much for the Tvr 5L engine but yours Daz,,, a flier,,, go on boy, if you do it it'll start a trend..

Its not that quick ,a standard 4l with a Turbo bolted on is quicker .
I got a real good deal on the engine because someone put a big deposit down then pulled out .

My engine seems ripe for FI, fresh internals, what is it about 5k to get fully set up and no holed pistons etc,
The more I think about effing Chassis repairs and body lifts, the more I think, in for a penny,,,,,
Might aswell get the car 21st century fast.
There's something very soothing about the idea of 400 + hp.
463bhp that seems just about right,,
With all these super quick euro and jap cars about it's the only way forward,,
I can't quite imagine the Tvr going like my old 250 cart but now it seems possible!!!!
It's like space this tivvin,, never ending search for a faster way of life, lol.
