What about the chassis number being linked to the v5?

Didnt say they were that smart, just going off the C63 that got binned at the Trafford centre and they did that.

The video is by Tim Burton (Shmee150), who is a PH member and Mclaren 650s owner who makes youtube videos for a living.

Here is what he had to say:

Having read lots of your comments I just wanted to address a few of the reoccurring themes.

I consider this a news event, British drivers are frequently behaving like this in upmarket areas of London and it needs to stop. I decided to post this video as a talking point and it is clearly exactly that, perhaps it will encourage the authorities to shut down events like this that are frequently taking place.

There is an assumption it is involving drivers from the Middle-East, but almost entirely the bad behaviour is by British citizens. As a resident of the area it is important to make this distinction that's frequently overlooked. Quite often it is not the drivers of the most upmarket cars either, but those that fit into the sports car category below - an easy confusion to make for a non-car enthusiast.

To clarify, I do not promote this behaviour, I would never do it myself and on a near on daily basis I apologise to people with cameras asking me to rev my car that it's inappropriate to disturb locals by doing so. I implore anybody reading this who would consider driving like this to please book a private day where it can be legally practised without risking other people and their property.

Oh come on, he makes money from supercar owners in London showing off, driving like tools and sometimes crashing, nobody is all that interested in a Ferrari or Lambo being driven sedately and sensibly, well, they may be but it wouldnt pull the same number of hits in now would it ?

Stupid behaviour. Also, that BMW showed itself up, it couldn't do a burnout to save it's life.

Very poor show from him promoting this rubbish. I usually enjoy his videos. What is it with these idiots driving between traffic and crowds of people in central London. Do they not realise what fantastic roads we have in this country once you get out of London? It is only a matter of time before one of these cars loses control and hits one of the crowds.

Shmeee is on here. I was intrigued when I first started watching his videos - he's owned a number of supercars and currently drives a McLaren - not bad for a young guy.

+1

I like some of Shmee's videos and it's great he makes so much money from them however there's no need for such politician type spin when trying to justify why a particular video was uploaded or not.

For example, the Aventador crash video which was put up last year got 10m+ views. Was that vid put up to get views and hence £s or was it put up as 'a talking point' and to 'encourage the authorities to crack down' on bad driving? smile

I presume Schmee really is disgusted at this behaviour so has provided a copy of his unedited video to the Met?

Nope? Thought not.

Sad that such driving is not contained to the track or some place where the public is not put at risk. All too often we see accidents these days involving such high power vehicles. Drivers like this are a frequent occurrence near where we live and just because the road is straight does to mean they have to make a nuisance of themselves.

Great to see that videos are shown of what the cars can or can not do but the place is wrong.

This Shmee bell clearly comes from money and he hasn't generated anywhere near enough views to buy his cars and have the lifestyle that comes from running them, assuming he eats and has a place to sleep like everyone else.

Find out facts about him before talking utter bull st. He made his money through youtube videos and for such a young guy to own a McLaren don't blame him one bit for doing it.

He makes his money from videos of this sort of thing people will watch them again and again and hes making money from it. Its a circle the more people view them the more people will be out there trying to film them, the more people out there the more the show offs will well show off.
