We have a C1 as a runabout, was quite pleasing to see how well the 107/C1/Aygo does in the reliability stakes, probably because underneath the Pug and Citroen badges there is actually a Toyota with a hint of Daihatsu, also, there is very little to actually go wrong. Amusingly the Toyota version did the worst of the three

Fiat 500 doesn't fare very well.

Cool story bro etc, and yes they are a little tin can, but I thought it may be useful if anyone was considering one of them as a runaround, have had ours three yeas and its not missed a beat.

in terms of reliability nothing comes close to a jazz, it's a little bigger though.

mind you, it's the most bland, soulless and uninteresting car I've ever owned.

Funny, it doesn't feature in that survey, I would agree though that Honda's are very reliable, I think maybe they are perhaps a class up from these tiny city cars perhaps ? also a lot more expensive being 14 grand upwards, but you get what you pay for. I do think it is amusing though that these tinny little boxes manage to be nigh on indestructible.

It's odd that the Panda and Ka both make it into the top 10, yet the 500 is in the bottom 5. They're all pretty much the same car underneath their different bodies.

Might be ownership profile, Panda owners might be a bit more hands on and Fiat 500 owners might be 18 year old girls ?

Quite possibly true, it just surprised me that three cars which are so similar are apparently so far apart when it comes to reliability. I have no doubt that, if looked after correctly, an average Panda, Ka or 500 would all be just as reliable as each other.
