Hotel Wi Fi and XBone

So

Working away and going nuts without my gaming fix

XBONE won't log on to the hotel Wi Fi as it uses Web logon and Xbone won't open IE until it's connected

Tried tethering on 3,as it has good speed and latency where I'm staying, but I think they recognise the windows kernel (or similar) and throttle the connection so it's useless for online gaming

Looked over the web but all I find is Mac address spoofing that only seems to work for the 360 (at least, didn't work for me)

Any ideas folks?

The last place I stayed (Sofitel) had free internet wired and wifi ....but it was throttled back horribly... amazingly when I payed for the 24 hours unlimited it worked well.
