I've got the camera on my (ex)bike which is a Buell XB9R and the fella behind is my mate Turkish on his gorgeous Triumph Daytona 595.

Unfortunately Turkish was knocked off on the M25 a week ago and the bike was trashed. The good news is he's ok if not a little shaken up.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Nice smooth images. Good quality image and sound. What camera/equipment did you use for the filming?

check out these bad boys....

Got a mate with a ducati, with a front mounted bullet cam, one between the exhausts and a handlebar mounted switch to stop/record and flick between the two cameras. Works really well on tracks.

The camera fits under the seat. There is also a small box which acts as a switch box and RF supressor and allows the two cameras (plus sound) to be fed into the DV camera. Almost broadcast quality!

Just started to watch the vid. Don't suppose Turkish was filtering at speed when he was knocked off by any chance?

I'm really glad he is okay, but as MrsM said...he wasn't accelerating onto the M25 from a slip road ala the first couple of minutes? He obviously didn't see that car when it wasn't his right of way and cut it up! For gawd sake be careful and be aware of your surroundings, I'm not perfect but I would have had my head twisted over to my right looking for that as the rider should know that he was acclerating to a similar speed to a vehicle in the inside lane.

Tempted by these pen cameras, it was a right pain in the ar5e to get these...

It involved a 'designed for a bike' framework with suction cups and 3 large plasticuffs to hold the camcorder.

As a non-biker I found some of that high speed filtering quite alarming, undertaking at speed, pulling back through gaps just before they closed, that sort of stuff. Don't get me wrong, its your neck at the end of the day, but do you ride like this all the time?
