Starting for first time in a few months

Hasn't been started in about 4 months or so. Will obviously be checking all the fluid levels, anything else? It's first destination will be to the garage for a service and MOT.

I feel for you, staring an engine that has been subject to several months rebuild is always a trial.

The most dangerous thing I did many years ago was squirt several cc of oil in to each cylinder beforehand, because I was so scared about lack of lubrication. I was totally unaware that I could have caused a massive hydro-lock (or oil equivalent).
