This week I will collect my new V12 Vantage S and I'm a little bit excited :-)

I've read all the threads about the Carbon Ceramic Brakes and the Bedding-In procedures and the last information was, that all new CCM Brakes which you buy as a spare are already bedded in.

But what about the brakes on a NEW car ? Are they already bedded-in or do I have to do it ? I'm a little bit confused...

BTW, My previous car was a TVR Sagaris (which I'm currently selling) and I'm astonished how many people here had or have a TVR beside the Aston !

I asked this question on my factory tour and was told they have already been bedded in. Apparently there is a machine that does it.

P.S. Should have said congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Aston. Pictures are obligatory!

Thank you Ian for the answer, now I'm feel reassured, because I read that discs which aren't bedded in shouldn't catch water and as the weather here is not so pleasant at the moment, i had concerns if I have collect the car while it's raining.

Stratus white with some carbon parts and black lightweight wheels.

Normally I'm not the person who likes white cars, except in Motorsports, and so I started with Black, Ceramic Grey and maybe Volcano Red. Silver was totally excluded, because here in Germany I think now over 50% of all cars are silver.
But as the dealer had this car in stock and made me a real good price (I can't afford a custom ordered car) I choose the white one and it starts growing on me :-)

P.S. Pictures will come definitely...
