Failed coil at 48,000 is actually quite good. Mine had one go at 35,000. They get very hot so this is normal. Problem is it is a big job to replace....inlet manifolds off for a start, and the two gasgets for those alone is about £160 , let alone labour. So advice is....if replacing a coil...get all 12 done. I would suggest you find out if it has had coils replaced in the past. I think you are looking at around £1500 from a main dealer for all twelve.
Exhaust bypass....actually it usually is just the fuse removed which leaves the baffles open all the time. Many people do it, me included.
Cant remember on costs for pads, perhaps try ringing one for a quote. Glass keys are ridiculous....north of £1,000 I think.

Not sure of your budget or any other requirements but I have seen this car and it is very tidy.
