Apologies, but I am completely bereft of inspiration at this point.

• <£4-5k
• auto gearbox
• interesting/fun
• 4+ seats
• reliable
• 20+mpg urban (or LPG equivalent)

That's it. Would an LPG cherokee/grand cherokee be madness? Would a lexus sedan be too boring? No reply too stupid, as long as it meets the above criteria. Petrol preferred, ability to cross a muddy field a bonus, but not a necessity.

Must admit, I've got a massive blind-spot for BMWs. A 328-335 (or 5 series equivalent?) could be a good call, although I think it would need to be a 4-door.
