Fuel Hose Leak

So every time I've been opening the boot recently I've almost passed out from the smell of fuel. Finally got round to removing the tank this evening and found the below. Amazed that it actually didn't leak any more than it did !

Only problem I have is I can't get the banjo bolt undone. It is well and truly on. Put it in my (admittedly weedy) vice, tried some heat (after cleaning out all traces of fuel) and nothing.

Any ideas where I might be able to get hold of the entire screw in assembly if it won't come out ? I'm talking about the large screw in bung with the large flat nut that the banjo bolt then screws into. I've tried the usual suspects on the internet and no luck so far. To be honest I don't even know what to call it so I can't even search for it via google etc anyway.

Rather than leaning on the banjo bolt, have you tried giving it a crack? Good fitting spanner or socket and whack 'through' it with a heavy mallet... That'll move

Have you tryed turning the bango and boilt at the same time impact driver may get it moveing

Or smack the banjo with a hamer in a undoing rotation

Well Sir, I owe you a beer ! Never even occurred to me to give it a bosh like that. Just been back out to the garage, one hit and she came lose.
