How hard can it be?

I seem to remember a thread a while ago that mentioned a 'template' for the outrigger cuts, but cannot find the thread or remember the person who bought it up.
Also, the tubing for the whole job was only £70 approx.

Does anyone remember which thread this was, or can enlighten me on what's involved in making your own outriggers please?

Maybe worth asking a local fabricator. I think some have mentioned on here that they've done them for a £200-£300 all in. Considering the outrigger kit on Ebay is circa £500-£600, then there is quite a saving.
