Its new TV time for me and I'm wanting something that looks nice and performs well, I\ve taken a real shine to Loewe's new Art 40, Ive found a stockist near by so I'm going to look at one but just wondered if anyone has any experience of Loewes, I know they are above average price but I like the fact they are built out of proper materials not cheap plastic, and I believe the sound is fairly good for a TV as well?
they are £1299 which doesn't seem to bad to me?

They have recently re invented themselves after a period in administration and re positioning. Great technology, beautifully engineered, somewhat left field regarding design, but all the better for it and if you have a local dealer pop along have a look at the connectivity and sound. If happy buy it and enjoy being 'in the know'.

is the high-speed channel changing a waste of time if you watch via Sky+?
also does it have Smart features like watching youtube / surfing via TV?
Yes high speed channel changing only works on the freeview channels (not that ive tested it as I don't have an ariel).2 questions

And yes it's a full 'smart' tv so you can watch you tube browse Internet etc. I'm not sure how often I'll use it that way though. What's impressed me so far is how it handles normal Standard def TV. It also looks lovely in the room a real classy product.
It does look small though because the 40" tv it replaced had a huge bezel on it :-)
