Running in new tyres

Somewhere on Pistonheads there is advice from shpub (and GreenV8S?) about procedure for running in new tyres. But I can't relocate it! Can anyone point me to the right thread? I've just taken delivery of new 18" spider alloys on Toyos for my Cerbera, and would like to start off on the right foot!

I think it was about SO3s and that you have to take them through three cycles of heating and cooling. You'd think Bridgestone could do that in a special oven before they sell them, wouldn't you?
