Need stereo\iphone connectivity\in built sat nav system
Discussion
Those are some very sparse details, but I assume it's a 987.1 with the standard system we're talking about.
Are you asking if there is a replacement Porsche system or if there is a third-party option? If I'm not mistaken, it's a double DIN head unit and can be replaced by pretty much anything that fits that standard. Look here for an example of it being replaced with a Pioneer head unit.
If you're after Porsche-specific options, someone might be along in a while. If not, you might be in the wrong place for more detailed info.

You don't need to go to this length if you just want to replace the head unit. I would recommend Pioneers latest AVIC double din head units which have Nav built in and also Apples CarPlay so you can just plug in your iPhone and the head unit will let you use you iPhone maps, email, music etc. They also work with Android devices.
I believe there will be a new CarPlay unit coming this summer so you may want to wait. The built in nav is also very good and Pioneeet are still up there with the best sound quality amongst the nav units.
Give Greg a call at Auto Audio and I'm sure he would be happy to advise you on the best options.
